The Jets are still fighting for the playoffs! In the spirit of the holidays and the great food my family enjoys during the holiday season, we are going all out with what I think is the best menu I have ever done for a game, including some truly awesome hot dogs we have won in competition with and a home made dessert that is a family tradition.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE EVER SERVED ANY OF OUR COMPETITION HOT DOGS AT A TAILGATE, AND WE WILL BE SERVING NOT 1 BUT 2! These are very time consuming to prep and make and very expensive.
The ham we will be serving:
The Tailgate Menu
- Mimosas and Bagels for the start for the early people
- Grilled smoked Polish sausage with home made hot pepper jelly
- The TGJ Lot Burger, the best burger you will find at any tailgate party in America! We are going to make them a little bigger this week
- Xmas Ham TGJ style, we take a bone-in spiral ham, add a competition BBQ rib rub, then a maple glaze, grilled for 2 hours on site.
- The Sanchize hot dog, we won 2nd place at The Great Hot Dog Cookoff it 2010 with this dog, we have never served it at a tailgate party before!
- The Nick Mangold Over The Line Dog, we won 1st place at The Great Hot Dog Cookoff it 2012 with this dog, we have never served it at a tailgate party before!
- Fresh filled cannoli
- Icebox cake, this is a family tradition for Christmas, and it’s the first time we are ever serving it at a tailgate!

Kelso of Brooklyn is a local NYC craft beer brewer. Their beers are only available in draft by the keg and served at NYC’s better restaurants and bars. We are pleased to work with Kelso as the Pour of Choice for all Tailgate Joe home games.
Location: We arrive and set up 5 hours before kickoff, and generally have food and beer flowing within a half hour. Our location is Green Lot E10, along the curb. We are conveniently located near the stadium. More info on our location is here.
