2020 Corona Virus Outbreak

TailgateJoe’s Plans Regarding Our Tailgate Royale Tailgate Party For Wrestlemania 36 Amid CoronaVirus Outbreak

Hey guys, in the over 10 years I have been doing these organized tailgates for the NFL, concerts, and other public and private events, this is a situation that I have not encountered. Having said that, we have had parties go on in the face of natural disasters like blizzards and hurricanes, and my crew and I have always “gotten it done.” In our decade+ we have never disappointed or left our guests not whole, and I am writing today to say that we will always do right by the guests who put their faith and money with us in providing them a great experience. So knowing that nobody will be screwed in this, please read on with what we are planning…..

Possible scenarios for how this plays out:

Wrestlemania goes on as planned on the original date and location: This is what we are all hoping. If mania goes on as planned, we will be there doing our party, barring any governmental issue with doing so.

Wrestlemania is postponed at Raymond James, or moved to another venue: Subject to the new location and date, we will be doing the party at that new date/location.

Wrestlemania is cancelled: If the event is cancelled, then our party is cancelled.

What that means for guests holding tickets:

This is for guests who purchased directly on the TailgateJoe website, if you purchased through another reseller please check with their policies

We know a lot of you have already booked and are going with us, but we know a lot are sitting on the sidelines waiting to see how this plays out. We want everyone who wants to go to be able to join us, and not miss out by waiting to purchase party passes, so we want to put you at ease. Here is how we are handling ticket purchases:

If Wrestlemania goes off at the original date and location: No special accommodations needed, the party goes on, standard ticketing policies are in effect.

If Wrestlemania is postponed to another date and/or location is changed: Your ticket is valid for the party on the new date/location. If that doesn’t work for you, guests will have the option of either a refund or 2021 Wrestlemania Tailgate VIP ticket ($100 value). We would of course rather you stick with us and take advantage of the upgraded experience ticket for next year, but we understand if a refund is what you need. If this becomes a reality, more info on what the VIP ticket option includes will be disclosed.

If Wrestlemania is cancelled or government regulations force us to cancel the party: Guests will have the option and choice of either a refund or 2021 Wrestlemania Tailgate VIP ticket ($100 value). We would of course rather you stick with us and take advantage of the upgraded experience ticket for next year, but we understand if a refund is what you need. If this becomes a reality, more info on what the VIP ticket option includes will be disclosed.

No Matter What, We’ve Got Your Back

So, as you can see, we have every intention of going on with the party at Wrestlemania 36, but in the case that we can’t or it materially needs to change date or location, you will have the option to either get a refund or take advantage of an opportunity to get an upgraded experience next year at a deep discount. I hope this alleviated your fears and allows you to include us in your plans for Wrestlemania, knowing that we will take care of you in the event the party is cancelled or changed. We have been in the tailgate business since 2009 and have never had a problem with honoring our commitment, and we are not going to go into another decade tarnishing our stellar reputation. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at joe@tailgatejoe.com

If you were at our Mania 35 party at Metlife last year, you probably heard me get on the mic when I made the donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and heard me say then that I was so overwhelmed by the energy and passion of the wrestling fans that I was committing to traveling to Tampa for 36 and sharing our passion for entertaining, cooking, and hospitality with the wrestling fan community. I spent the next 11 months planning this party, spending a considerable amount of time and money getting this event off the ground. We hope you will consider joining us this year if it goes on, or next year if not.

I look forward to seeing ya in the lot!
